Description

Nick Fix touch-up paint is perfect for small chips, scratches, and gouges. It can be built up in layers to repair most glaze finishes on light damage. This versatile product works on cast iron, enameled steel, vitreous china, porcelain, ceramic, gel coat fiberglass, acrylic, paint, and painted surfaces such as appliances, sinks, tubs, showers, stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, antiques, and more.

Directions: Using the supplied brush, apply the mixture to the chipped or damaged area in layers. Allow to tack dry for 7-10 minutes between layers. A handheld blow dryer can be used to apply moderate heat between layers. Apply several layers to build up the product for the desired fill or color. See insert for complete instructions.

Preparation: If metal areas are exposed and rust (oxidation) is present, sand the area with 220 grit sandpaper to remove rust to bare metal. Clean the application area using a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol for best adhesion of the product.

Ventilation: Open a window or place a fan for proper ventilation during application and clean up with solvents.

Clean Up: Use isopropyl alcohol or lacquer thinner to clean up spills or overage.

Protection: Wear nitrile gloves to prevent contact with skin.
