This kit is ideal for repairing cracks, chips, and deep gouges in Vikrell surfaces. It includes all the necessary materials to make durable and aesthetically pleasing repairs. The Poly Paste is formulated to bond securely to the surface, providing a long-lasting solution. 3 Easy Steps:
STEP 1: Prepare the chip, gouge, or crack by using a grinding tool, putty knife, razor knife, or other sharp tool. Be sure to create a “V” shape going through the depth of the surface (color) stopping at the fiberglass structure – 1/16” to 3/16” deep. Remove all loose particles and clean the area with acetone or nail polish remover.
STEP 2: Dispense a desired amount of Poly Paste into the mixing cup. Add 3% to 5% cream hardener to the Poly Paste and mix thoroughly using the provided stir stick. Then apply the mixture to the repair area, ensuring you overfill the crack or chip slightly. The mixed material must be used within 5 minutes.
STEP 3: Wet sand so that the contour of the repair matches the surrounding area starting with the 100 grit and finishing with the 320 grit.
