- 1) Prepare the chip, gouge, or crack by using a grinding tool, putty knife, razor knife, or other sharp tool. Be sure to create a “V” shape going through the depth of the surface (color) stopping at the fiberglass structure - 1/16” to 3/16” deep. Remove all loose particles and clean the area with acetone or nail polish remover.
- 2) Dispense a desired amount of Poly Filler into the mixing cup. Add 3% to 5% cream hardener to the Poly Filler and mix thoroughly using the provided stir stick. Then apply the mixture to the repair area, ensuring you overfill the crack or chip slightly. The mixed material must be used within 5 minutes.
- 3) Wet sand so that the contour of the repair matches the surrounding area starting with the 100 grit and finishing with the 320 grit.

Wouldn't use any other filler for fiber glass.
When I started out as new repair pro I repaired everything with body filler. Now I repair most fiber glass, gel coat and acrylic with this product. Really like how fast it sets and that it is white. Excellent product!
