Product Description
Activates Quick Glaze Basecoats & Standard Quick Glaze Clear Topcoat. Best for bathtub and general plastics/fiberglass repairs. Does not work with K2000 Components. Use K2000 hardener and Quick Glaze Retarder to convert Quick Glaze basecoats to be compatible when clear coating with K2000 Clear for spa hot tub repairs. (See K2000 Hardener).
Mix: 8 to 1 with Quick Glaze Basecoats.
Mix: 4 to 1 with Quick Glaze Standard Clear Coat

Had that same thing happen… I buy it in the 8oz cone top cans instead, puncture the seal with a small screw driver without messing up the threads. Having the threads and the cap all gooped up with the product is going to dry out the hardener inside. Found it smart to clean the threads and cap after I use it. I little thinner on a paper towel does the job. I got some replacement caps from Multi-Tech as well. Hardener lasts a long time now.

Could not unscrew lid . had to puncture it with a screwdriver.used it once ,now its gel
